This was the start of my first productive day finding birds and wildlife while in Sunriver, Oregon. It took some convincing to stop photographing these Black-capped Chickadees because usually the smartest policy is to keep photographing the bird you have in front of you rather than searching for what may never come.
Captured with the Sony a7R IV and Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS on August 14, 2019 at 8:14 AM. I used AF-C mode and multi-segment metering. Auto WB setting.
