In the field

As we made the drive from Sante Fe Mexico back to Utah, we briefly passed through Colorado for about an hour. We saw a sign for a dramatic overlook and being in no hurry to get home, we turned off and drove down a dirt road for about 15 minutes. With no sign for the overlook in sight we turned around and heading back towards the main road but I stopped when I saw this. This was a classic scene of the American west with a wheat field and wispy clouds in the background. I loved the simplicity of the moment, a lone tree..in the field.
