Though we are in the mire of darkness, there is a light that shines through the darkness. A new day is coming.
As I stood there waiting to capture Mt. Rainier peaking through the fog, I got more and more enamored with the way the Sun pierced through the dark fog. So, I captured the moment not know if the mountain would ever show its face. It didn't, but that didn't matter. I think this picture is better than the one I set out to capture.
