I remember clearly what happened while taking this photo. I arrived at the scene exactly 7:10 pm. 3-4 photographers maybe the usual, and some passing tourists. There was this one frustrated photographer (Chinese), taking a photo of his partner (the woman in the geisha outfit). I took a few exposures on the left to eliminate the woman then gave up and ate dinner. After an hour I went back hoping to have fewer people. Surprisingly the couple was still there and it was raining lightly at this point. At this point i decided to take a bracketed shot of the pagoda with the woman. Funny sometimes the things we do for a single photo.
