For me hoopoe is one of the prettiest birds that i had a chance to see and photograph. Where i live they are very rare, but this year i allready saw few of them and for two pairs i know that are nesting here for many years in row, but still i didnt have the chance to photograph them here, this photo is from my trip to Serbia last year.
i had the pleasure of photographing one last february in Spain, they are amazing. Unfortunately mine didn't have it's "hair" up, Nice photo!
