Its emerald waters and the imposing nature that surrounds it make Lago di Braies one of the most spectacular places in the Dolomites. Located in the heart of the Fannes-Sennes and Braies natural park, one of the largest in South Tyrol, this small alpine lake is surrounded by important Dolomite peaks: Croda del Becco (2,810m), Monte Nero (2,123m), Piccolo Apostolo (1,711m) and Sasso del Signore (2,447m). No wonder it is one of the most visited and beautiful in this Italian region.
