Recently Black Lives Matter in northern Utah were looking for volunteers to photograph portraits for father's day and I gladly agreed. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon but after most of the work was done my wife and I sat down and listened to an impromptu meeting taking place at the table in the park where we met. I took advantage and quietly took images of all ladies discussing everything to the next protest or how their children were doing. This mother was taking notes for the meeting, writing furiously, occasionally looking up..between moments.
