Peeping Down

This stubborn little fellow was rooting around in my yard in search of a nut to bury for the winter. I caught him just as he found one, and he ran up a tree to hide. Every few seconds he'd pop around the side of the tree to see if I was still there. I've found that if the squirrel has a nut, it won't let go of it at any cost, making it easier for me to photograph them.
