Hourglass - Geldingadalir, Iceland, 2021
The picture kind of reminds me of an hourglass. I had to think of one of the last episodes of TerraX -> extinction of species. An episode as fascinating as it is terrifying about the man-made 6th mass extinction, which is already in full swing. Mother nature only affects peripherally if we continue to saw on our own branch. The only question is, how many species will we exterminate along the way and how long will we be part of that story?
