Clean Beauty Levitation

One thing I love about shooting clean beauty is showing all the ingredients. These shots are very labor intensive but so beautiful. Clients love having shots that showcase the ingredients in their skincare. I shoot all the different ingredients in my studio w 2 Godox strobes. One bare bulb and one diffused lighting the background. I know many of these ingredients are available as stock, but I prefer to shoot them so they all have the same lighting on them. Then, I cut them out in Photoshop and arrange them. A few tips to make it look more real: overlap some of them. Also, I make sure to add shadows where one item would cast a shadow on the other. When everything is done I flatten the image and do final color, sharpening and contrast adjustments. This shot from cutting the fruit to finished image took about 3 hours.
