This was taken in Joshua Tree National Park near my campsite. I walked around this rock formation looking for the right composition and as the cloud formed I setup and captured this photo. The scene makes me think of an antenna waiting to receive a signal from somewhere else in the universe.
This photo was edited to improve the details in the shadows and bring out the colors and detail in the unusual cloud.
