This shoot is amazing! How did you get the background colors? Great work!

Clément Bourcier's picture

Hello David, thanks a lot for your comment. The background was a 9ft marble from Colorama. The hue was change in postproduction. The color marble is perfect to get a palette of pastel colors (obviously it's not possible with standard white-grey-black background). I hope this answers your question.

Extremely well done man! Awesome job!

Thanks Brian, I really appreciate especially given the amazing quality of your portfolio.

great work

Thanks a lot Lee for your comment and your 5 stars, it's mean a lot to me :). If you see Patrick you can tell him that Spartoo is an online clothes shop based in Europe. I fully agree with him on the importance of knowing the context of an ad. These images are part of a series created for promoting the company during special events such as Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, the opening of the Olympic Games...

As a catalog photographer......this excites me. Seriously....its perfection. You nailed it. Its as perfect as it could get.

Clément Bourcier's picture

Thank you a lot Peter. I spend most of my time doing traditional packshot so I must admit that this type of project is always more interesting and exciting to do!

Merci beaucoup Quentin :), toujours sympa d'avoir des commentaires en français surtout connaissant d'avant et étant très impressionné par ton travail en fashion/beauty.

I remember seeing this image on 500px and wondering why you have so few views despite the high quality of your portfolio. Glad to see that you are getting much more visibility here on FS, it is well deserved. Keep up the great work =)

Clément Bourcier's picture

I remember too having a discussion about product photography on 500px with you. Glad to see you on Fs. Thanks a lot , but not even close from your work :), your product shoot (coca, heineken and frisco) are among the best liquid visual that I have seen.

I will sound really dumb now..but how is this image done without the human in it? ..thank u for answering in advance..new to photography/photoshop, still learning..

Clément Bourcier's picture

Hello Veronika, i'm so sorry to reply late. I shot with a person in it, and then I shot all the hidden parts. Then I do some compositing in photoshop. I hope this could help you.
