How to Make Your Own Custom Brushes in Photoshop

Do you know how to make your own brushes in Photoshop? When you see how see easy it is, it will change your approach to editing forever.

It's a big statement, I know, but I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that once you work out how to create your own brushes in Photoshop and then begin to build your own brush library, the way you edit will never be the same. That's because you can add things to your images in single clicks once you've created brushes for them. Elements like hair, grass, textures, and pretty much anything else can make single-click additions to your images so easy. Literally every time I edit something I like, I try to turn some part of the work into a brush for simple use in the future.

In this great video brought to you by photoshopCAFE, Colin Smith teaches you everything you need to know in order to create your own highly artistic brushes. The good thing with this video is that even if you don't like the particular brush that Smith creates, you will learn the skills necessary to create your own brushes. And once you have the skills, the only limit you have to brush creation is your own imagination. Give the video a watch and let me know how you use brushes in the comments below.
