How Far Would You Go For A Shot?

How Far Would You Go For A Shot?

If you're like Nick Selway and CJ Kale, it's pretty far. They braved 110F water and floating lava bombs to capture some truly gorgeous images of lava flowing from a volcano in Kalapana, Hawaii. To top it all off, they were floating freely in the water, not on a boat or on dry land.

During the shoot, CJ Kale shattered his ankle and then had to walk two miles back to their car.

Talk about tough.

So what about you? Have you ever done anything really dangerous to get a shot? Ever gotten hurt taking a picture? We'd love to hear from you in the comments. In the mean time, check out these great shots below and read the full story from the Daily MailĀ HERE.

All these are great, except the one of the Grand Prismatic Pool in Yellowstone. The color of the streams that flow from it has been too dramatically altered for my taste, especially since it's an astonishingly beautiful place already.
