Inspired by the woodblock print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa". I saw this snow "wave" and it instantly reminded me of this famous woodblock. I love japan, and lived there for years as a child. I still get some inspiration from my current work from that time of my life.
I absolutely love the simplicity and light here - on the snow and the background. I haven't been around the community here much, but so far this is one of my favorite shots i've seen.
