I was in central Slovakia over the weekend at a cottage resort. The landscape was amazing and I was really hoping for a cloud free night to try to capture the milky way. I set my alarm for 5am to go out shooting, I poked my head out of the roof window to see what it was like outside, saw the clouds, snapped this shot then happily went back to bed.
The glow of the town lights makes this for me. And yes, you say you "snapped" this but EXIF says 30 seconds exposure.
Compared to going out for a few hours in the morning to shoot, I snapped this. Thanks for your comment!
