Kaare Lytsen - November 15, 2017 Antonio Chiesa Thanks Paul Bomert - November 16, 2017 Amazing! Kaare Lytsen - November 16, 2017 Paul Bomert Thanks ron fya - November 16, 2017 Simple. Neat. Yet beautiful & powerful. Congrats. Since it is a very unusual look for a subject like this, I am curious how you made that photo happen ? I mean do you breed pelicans so that they are not afraid with you setting up stuff around them, or placing them where you set up something ? Or was it a wild pelican in which case it makes me wonder more how you got the shot. Any insights ? Cheers. R. Kaare Lytsen - November 16, 2017 ron fya Hi Ron First of all, thank you for the kind words. I do not breed pelicans, but I was visiting the local zoo. There they had a bird cage you could walk inside, so the birds were accustomed to people and you could get relatively close. I totally agree if it had been a wild pelican, it would have been impressive that you could get so close.
