Stormy Seas in Wales, UK

I had set off to a little island off of the coast of Wales in hopes of capturing a lighthouse at sunrise. The wind was super intense to the point it was hard to walk straight! All around the island the seas were in fierce motion and crashing everywhere. Forget the lighthouse I had thought! I found a little cove that protected me enough to set up the tripod and shot away for a long while. Needless to say that I was completely mesmerized by the power and fury of mother nature! Such an epic morning!

Mate, Well done

Thanks a ton, Bruce!

Beautifully done--great tones, color and composition. And fine timing, too.

Thanks a ton for this amazing feedback!

I love this shot. The earth is covered by 3/4 water. We don't realize the power of mother nature's wonders. I never realized just how powerful the ocean is until I spent several years aboard a guided missile cruiser. Our ship weighed 8900 tons and measured close to 500 feet. We sailed through a typhoon on our way to Japan.Thank you for sharing this image. Keep up the excellent work.

Tasty!

Powerful. Thanks for enduring. You were rewarded for your effort
