I've had an interest in photography since I was a teenager and pursued work experience with a couple of news photographers when I was in High School. I eventually started a course by mail during the days of film and got distract by learning to Scuba Dive and that was wear my money went. As with all things way leads on to way and through the course of life and various personal set backs I went back to university and attained a business degree with a focus on marketing and public relations. This has reignited my interest in the photographic and videographic arts.

Having had enough of structured learning I'm now teaching myself through the amazing tutorials put together by Lee, Patrick and their friends which have been something of an inspiration as well as the tutorials done by Pye and the team at SLR Lounge and also by Aaron Nace at Phlearn. Along with a variety of other people contributing to the boundless amounts of free content at YouTube University.

My interests are varied and this is reflective in my work as there is no set pattern as yet to what I photograph. The images that are at a level that I'm comfortable sharing are still in the amateur and juvenile stages of growth as I learn the techniques and also the intricacies of how my camera works and the assortment of toys that are slowly filling up my bag.
