A Review of the Affordable But Impressive Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 Lens

A small, affordable prime lens with a relatively wide focal length can be tremendously useful (as long as it has the image quality to back it up), and at just $256 and 5.5 oz (155 g), the Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 lens certainly fits the bill. This great video review takes a look at the lens and the sort of sharpness and performance you can expect from it in real-world usage.

Coming to you from Christopher Frost, this great video review takes a look at the Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 lens. I have always been a fan of such lenses, as they offer a useful focal length that can capture a fair amount without being so wide as to cause significant distortion, and they are highly portable, making them fantastic walkaround lenses or something to put on a second body. And with the high-ISO capabilities of modern bodies, you likely will not miss f/2 or f/1.4 anywhere near as much. Take all of that and add in this particular lens' affordable price and excellent image quality, and it seems like Nikon has a real winner on their hands. Check out the video above for Frost's full thoughts on the lens.
