A Review of the Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Camera

Fuifilm's X-T5 mirrorless camera brings with it some of the company's most impressive features and capabilities, most notable being the highest resolution ever seen in an X Series camera. With all those advanced features inside the well-loved X-T style, it looks like quite the promising camera. Now in the fifth generation of the X-T series, the X-T5 shows how it has matured into a very capable device that can easily tackle a variety of professional needs, particular with the new back-illuminated 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor. Along with that come features like a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec, 5-axis in-body image stabilization capable of 7 stops of compensation, Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode for 160-megapixel images, three-way tilting rear touchscreen, dual card slots, weather-resistant construction, subject detection autofocus, and more. I really like my X-T4 but the X-T5 not being able to hide the screen is a real downer to me. I don’t like exposed screens.

I don't like exposed screens either but I'll take that over an articulated 'selfie' screen. That sort of screen is too noticeable and a faff to use when out doing street photography.
