A Review of the Fujifilm XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR Lens

The Fujifilm XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR offers photographers a longer telephoto focal length in tandem with a wide aperture, making it an intriguing option for portrait and wedding photographers among others. This excellent video review takes a look at the lens and the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to you from Faizal Westcott, this awesome video review takes a look at the Fujifilm XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR lens. Equivalent to the long-popular full frame alternative portrait lens, the 135mm f/2, the 90mm offers a nice experience, backed up by an array of features, including:

  • Three extra-low dispersion elements for reduced fringing and chromatic aberrations and increased clarity
  • Super EBC coating for fewer flares and reduced ghosting and deeper contrast
  • Quad Linear Motor autofocus system for especially fast and quiet autofocus suitable for both photo and video applications
  • Seven different weather seals for dust- and moisture-resistant construction
  • Rounded seven-blade diaphragm for smoother bokeh

Altogether, the XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR looks like quite a nice lens and an interesting alternative to more traditional portrait, wedding, and street focal lengths. Check out the video above for Westcott's full thoughts.
