A Review of the Impressive Acer Swift X 14 Laptop

The Acer Swift X 14 Laptop offers a wide range of modern features, but perhaps the most exciting is its OLED screen, which promises stunning contrast and vibrant colors, making it an intriguing option for many creatives. Is it the right option for you? This excellent video review takes a look at the laptop and the sort of performance and experience you can expect from it.

Coming to you from Matthew Moniz, this great video review takes a look at the Acer Swift X 14 laptop. The Swift X's calling card is its gorgeous 2,880-by-1,800-pixel OLED screen. The benefit of OLED is that each pixel is individually lit, meaning contrast ratios are infinite, as true black can be achieved on a pixel-by-pixel basis. Once you experience one, it's hard to go back! Along with that screen, the laptop also comes with:

  • 13th generation 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 14-core processor with six performance cores and eight efficiency cores
  • Maximum Turbo Frequency of 5 GHz
  • 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory
  • 1 TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD
  • NVIDIA RTX 4050 graphics
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • 100% DCI-P3 coverage
  • Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth
  • 1080p webcam
  • Dual microphone array
  • DTS:X Ultra speaker system
  • AI-powered Purified Voice and Purified View technology
  • Temporal Noise Reduction technology
  • USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 ports
  • Two Thunderbolt 4 ports
  • Fingerprint reader
  • microSD reader
  • Up to 15 hours of battery life
  • Weight: 3.4 lbs

Altogether, the Swift X 14 looks like a nice laptop at a decent price. Check out the video above for Moniz' full thoughts.
