So, when Sony introduced the a9 in 2017, the 400 f2.8 GM, which was released in 2018, was available for it?

Did anybody hear anything about the startup time? As quick as a DSLR or acceptable?
From what I recall from one of the videos (I forget which one), it was quick. Almost, if not, instantaneous.
Nikon's Specs say less than half a second from off to Shooting. I saw one reviewer say it feels even quicker...it is just on when you hit the switch.
