Which Standard Lens Is the Best Option for Nikon Shooters?

One thing is for sure: Nikon mirrorless shooters are not at a loss for choice when it comes to standard zoom lenses. With four native options from Nikon, plus the option to pretty seamlessly adapt F mount options, you might be wondering which lens in the crowded field is right for your needs and budget. This excellent video comparison takes a look at five options and all their pros and cons to help you make the right choice.

Coming to you from Matt Irwin Photography, this great video comparison takes a look at the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 SNIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 SNIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S, and AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR lenses. I'll probably never stop arguing that unless you really need that extra stop of aperture, the 24-120mm f/4 is one of the best options (and values) out there, as that extra reach at the long end makes it so much more versatile, particularly if you are looking for a single lens for things like a trip. That being said, we all have different needs, and you might appreciate something like the much more compact 24-70mm f/4. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Irwin.

That was the most meaningless thing I have ever seen. Alex you have missed the mark many times, but not by this much.

It's just meant to make us comment stuff so the ads keep on flowing :)

The comments on Fstoppers never cease to amaze. If you don't like it, just skip it. Why launch an attack directly at someone? The guy just works here.

Ik would say, the one you can aford.
