Check Out This Fantastic 8K Infrared Time-Lapse

Infrared photography shows us a dream-like representation of our world, where foliage pops brightly and the color palette is unlike anything we're used to. This amazing 8K time-lapse shows off just what a beautiful world infrared can be.

Coming to you from Christian Möhrle of The Phlog Photography, this awesome time-lapse was shot around Lake Constance in southern Germany. Möhrle used an infrared-modified Canon T6i to shoot somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 images to put the time-lapse together, having to reshoot some locations multiple times to get the footage he wanted. Infrared photography is a great niche genre to try out if you're looking for something unusual to invigorate your creativity, particularly since you don't need an expensive camera at all to do it. In fact, I sent in my T3i years ago to have it modified, and I can put any of my normal Canon lenses on it. I've had quite a bit of fun experimenting with it. I recommend hopping on eBay and purchasing any old DSLR that has your lens mount of choice or even an advanced pocket camera to have modified. There's no need to use an expensive, modern DSLR or mirrorless camera.
