While their previous safety video featured hobbits, elves, and wizards in a Lord of the Rings inspired piece, this new video features wilderness survival talent Bear Grylls. In this behind the scenes video, you can get a closer look at the conditions and locations the crew had to work around, while having a fun time even while trying to keep warm on the mountaintop. Taking the time to actually create a fun and engaging video seems to be a very worthwhile project. I don’t know about you, but I’m generally pretty checked out on flights when the crew goes over safety protocols. These fun and lively videos are a great way to not only entertain but inform passengers, and it’s great to see Air New Zealand putting their money into it.
