Peter Hurley: The Art Behind The Headshot DVD
UPDATE: THE DVD IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD BY CLICKING HERE. As many of you know, Lee, and I have been working hard to bring you our first Fstoppers Tutorial DVD with famed NYC headshot photographer Peter Hurley. After we completed Peter Hurley’s Fstoppers Original video, it was clear that Peter had a lot more information to share not only about lighting but also about how to get the most out of your models and build a successful photography business.
While filming Peter work for over 3 days with 9 paying clients, it was clear that this DVD was not only for photographers wanting to improve their headshot business but it would also help any photographer who places a stranger in front of their camera. Peter deals with all sorts of personalities, facial structures, degrees of confidence, and levels of expectation with his clients on a day to day basis. This DVD will not only expose Peter’s workflow and lighting, but more importantly, it will also teach you how to interact with your clients. Peter also gives a lot of business tips along the way as well as some extremely effective “Hurleyisms” that will be sure to grab your client’s attention and set up that perfect expression.
About the Pre-Order
Right now the DVD is still in production but we hope to have it available by Summer 2011. Since we are all so excited about this project, we are going to offer a few extra goodies for anyone who pre-orders the two disk DVD. Every copy ordered between now and the official announcement will be signed by Peter Hurley himself. With each pre-order, you will also receive a $300 voucher to use at one of Peter’s Headshot Intensive seminars he is currently holding in New York and Los Angeles.
