Megan Fox In Underwear, Armani Underwear

armani megan fox 2011 Megan Fox In Underwear, Armani Underwear I was going to post a video showing Rafael Nadal’s latest Armani underwear shoot but figured Megan Fox might be a little easier on the eyes. Now you are probably thinking that any photoshoot with Megan Fox wearing little to nothing would probably produce strong images from any photographer and you’d be right. But what I found interesting was the way photographers Mert and Marcus used hotlights and large scrims to light the entire set creating a natural light feel. You can see the setup around :35 seconds. Not everyone has access to large HMI lights but it’s still an interesting way to shoot and could probably be reproduced firing strobes into white walls in a room. Watch the final video of this shoot after the behind the scenes and you can see many of the photos here.

Great post and I do actually think the film is better than the pictures from that campaign.

“I was going to post a video showing Rafael Nadal’s latest Armani underwear shoot but figured Megan Fox might be a little easier on the eyes.” Easier for who’s eyes? This comment makes it sound like you’re assuming that your audience is all heterosexual males.

Hey Guys – I shot that BTS film and I assure you it was the most stressful I have ever done in my 8 years, and the most complex edit ever too due to the number of revisions and approvals it had to have to reach the point you see it at. Nadal was a great guy to work with and much easier and enjoyable process throughout, and like Eli says – he’s plenty easy on many eyes that I’ve shown it to ;-)

In all honesty, I found that your BTS video, [Alex], was better than the actually ad itself. It’s not to say that they ad was bad, not at all. However, it lacked that….”exquisiteness” that I would expect from an Armani campaign.
I think that they should have used your video, or some of the footage at least, in the ad itself. (Mainly the shoot itself though, perhaps leave out most of the H&M clips as well as the set construction)
The composition and feel or your BTS video surpassed that of the final ad’s cut. I hate to say it but the final ad felt slightly amateur (slightly) to me at certain points. Whereas your video, however, was fluid and engaging. I felt more artistic appeal from your video than I did with the final cut.
                Bravo, sir. Bravo.

                Cheers mate,
                Spencer

the result is awesome but having here blinky while the fabric is flowing over her is a tad silly hehe.
