[Video] Ten Awesome Tips For Any Traveling Photographer

If you read Fstoppers, you might be a seasoned professional, or you might have just purchased your first camera and are eager to learn. Whatever your skill level, I’m sure that you’ve all been bitten by the travel bug at least once before, and as a camera owner, you’ve been inspired to bring home the best you can when shooting in a foreign location. A friend of mine recently sent me a video made by DSLR Traveler which is packed full of tips for anyone interested in improving their travel photography.

Even though I pretend I know what I’m doing, I still learned a few things from this video, and it’s well worth watching for anyone who is interested in capturing their trip, whether a first-time shooter or thirty-year veteran. Either way, it’s a great refresher, and I won’t lie: It totally made me excited to get to planning on my next photo trip.

For those interested in travel photography, DSLR Traveler is a new blog that might be worth following: If they keep releasing material of this quality, I think they’ll go far!

Well, I didn’t bring plenty of memory cards with me to Shaw Air Expo held this past weekend at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC. I brought six rolls of B&W ISO 400 film. Prior to the start of the Air Force Thunderbirds performance, I loaded a new roll of film in the camera. During their performance, I had to load another roll.

Most of the tips were natural and/or well known from before, although the video is very cool because of the amazing clips in it.
                My honest opinion :)
