Bald Cypress & Spanish Moss

I made this image in the wetlands of the creek where I live in North Carolina. The shape of the tree attracted my attention. Then, I noticed contrast between the warm cypress leaves and the Spanish moss. The soft lighting following sunset was perfect for this muted scene.

Ed, excellent image correct lighting for the subject that soft, reflective, or defused lighting is what enabled the detail and contrast between the grays of bark, moss and the rest of the colors. Calm air and f/11 seal the image with success. Good job … by the way did you make any exposures during that sunset/golden hour?

Thanks for your generous comments. The exposure was made after the sun set…. The soft light and the creek reflection behind me was the only light.

Yes I understood that. I was wondering if you took any others during golden hour or at sunset.
