Natural Light Beach Portraits in Bali With the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L Lens

If you are looking for beautiful, natural light portraiture and how to pose models effectively, this is a fabulous video set in an amazing location with a professional model. Join Irene Rudnyk behind the scenes on this adventure and watch the magic unfold.

Bali is one of those destinations that is high up on my list. Who can blame me, with beaches like the one in this video? The waves crashing on the beach with some moody skies elevate this shoot to incredible levels, which Rudnyk takes full advantage of.

Rudnyk is an excellent portrait photographer, and in this video, she is shooting with the Canon R5 and 28-70mm f/2.0, and the results here are brilliant. Rudnyk's work is a seamless process, as she guides the model through a variety of poses to great effect.

While many prefer to shoot strobes in portrait sessions, Rudnyk makes use of the very soft natural light here on a cloudy, moody day, and it really accentuates the atmosphere she is trying to portray.

At the end of the video, Rudnyk also gives us insight into how she used Photoshop's Generative AI to fix some issues on the model's dress.

My mum could shoot her with an iphone and it would still be this hot. All you need is a supermodel..

I'd say that's a good challenge, let me know when the video is up haha

I'm too ;-D

Had a similar convo with my other half last weekend: "With your models, you just need a Phone or Instax, and it will look stunning" (To a certain degree, I agree 😂)
