Fstoppers Contest: Win A Free Pass To Gulf Photo Plus London 2013

Fstoppers Contest: Win A Free Pass To Gulf Photo Plus London 2013

One of the most exciting things about our industry is being able to meet other talented photographers and talk shop. Lee and I recently attended Gulf Photo Plus 2013 out in Dubai, and we were able to meet photographers from literally all over the world. GPP has decided to take their workshop to London, and they are bringing four of their most sought after instructors with them. On September 28th and 29th, Joe McNally, David Hobby, Gregory Heisler, and Zach Arias will check their bags for the United Kingdom....and one lucky reader of Fstoppers could head out there with them. Full details below.

The kind folks over at Gulf Photo Plus have teamed up with Fstoppers once again to offer one lucky reader a free weekend pass to the entire PopUP GPP London workshop. If you don't remember, a few months ago we sent a luck winner all the way to Dubai for a full 8 days of workshops. This time you will have to make it to London but if you are the winner, you can attend the entire 2 day event for free (a $449 value). This means you get to pick the workshops you want to hang out in or you can even stop by all of them and take in the whole experience.

For all the details about where everything is happening and the class schedule, head over to the Gulf Photo Plus London page below.

This contest is open to everyone world wide and anyone of any age can enter. I have no doubt you will have a killer weekend experience if you win this contest. Even if you do not win, if you are in Europe or can afford to fly to London, it would be worth attending just to pick the minds of these four great photographers. Hearing Gregory Heisler's hilarious photography stories in Dubai will always be a memory I will never forget.

Because it would be a wonderful opportunity

I would love to mingle with amazingly talented photographers and/or amazingly rich photographers who can drop $900 on a weekend, in the hopes that one of those attributes rubs off on me... ;)

I attended the One Light, Two Light seminar earlier this year. It was taught by Joe Mcnally. What could be a better next step...

Because I am just starting as a young freelance photographer and it would be a dream to meet accomplished renowed photographers to learn a lot more.

Because their technical and creative skills combined are AMAZING.

I should attend 'cause this Gang of Four is worth it!

Because I was born for that

I would love to go, but honestly can't afford it at the moment because I'm saving money for my wedding and a visa to get my future wife over to this country. I know it sounds like a sop story, but it's it's also true. Pick me:) www.seantuckerphotography.co.uk

I need to learn from these guys. Need. London doesn't suck, either.

let's do this ;)

Cause it's not easy for us, wanna be photographers in Europe, it seems like everything happens in the States, so as one time such an opportunity happens here, why don't help us? Please...

As an Indian, I wants see the land of British and Photograph, the people came from there ruled us for centuries...

Because I could trade my regular work scheduled week-end for my passion lived in London !!

I really need all the help I can get with respect to my photography (and otherwise, but that's another story for another time), and what better way to learn than from these four great photographers.

Plus, I would finally have a reason to renew my passport ;)

Because this is a must in a photographer life and the perfect excuse to know a wonderful city!

I want to win because this will probably be the only way I'd ever be able to make it across the pond! That, plus I have friends in London whom I'd love to see since they moved back years ago!

I want to go to London so that I can learn from the masters and improve my photography

I'm a military wife stationed overseas in England right now so I could actually afford to travel to it and LEARN
.

Because... it's about four greats that are put into a great light.. and i want to learn about lighting from them

London, baby!!!

These guys have taught me so much. Seeing them in London would be really inspiring and a great time in my photo 'career' to be a part of something like this. And I live in London! (but could not afford to go). Thank you!

As a photography instructor myself, I'd love to soak in some interesting lessons that I can be inspired by and 'pay it forward' by passing on the energy and wisdom to my own students in January. I'd attend all four sessions, for sure.

Dreams never end...please, please, please, let me get what I want, Lord knows it would be the first time....

Me! Me! Me!

Because I need to gain the powers of Zach Arias and bring it back to the states to perform top secret photo sorcery.

I should atend Gulf Photo Plus because it will give me an ocasion to broaden my photography knolege under some of the greatest teachers in the industry

Well, I guess it's Ramen noodles only from now on. Got to make it to London!

Because for once the underdog would win!

It's an opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you for offering it!

I'd like to learn lighting from Greg Heisler, and meet everyone in person.

Another great contest!

Love to see all these guys together in London

This would be amazing! To have the opportunity to meet with all these professionals and learn along the way, would mean so much to me. I'm currently in my second year of studying photography so I am only just starting up. Any training from these amazing photographers would help me out a lot.

To see my idols? What other reason do I need?
Seriously though, I have just recently become a 100% freelance photographer (www.Titan-Studios.com) and would love the opportunity to finally meet some of the people who inspired me to do what I love!

I need to go cuz i need to quit my day job!

pick me pick me! would love to make the trip!

Well,I just stared photography a year ago as hobby, so I think being able to attend the GGP would push me and my photography well forward.

Cuz after purchasing all the books and stuff each of them has sold, and learning directly how amazing each of these guys are at teaching this would be the trip of a lifetime. I've never been to London, and I sacrificed my entire career this past summer to be a stay at home mom so my husband could work again after two years of being out of work and I survived :)

I would love to go there and see photography and lighting miracles happen in front of my eyes but not on my laptop screen as always...

I really need help from experts.

Because everything is a copy of a copy of a copy and I am tired of it and I need something new to improve.

I'm so worried i'll finish on "youarenotaphotographer.com", this workshop is my only way out of the spiral. Can't leave someone on the dying end can you...

Because I then can pass this story to my son. He'll tell his son.... that'll live forever.

Gregory, Joe, David and Zack all wear glasses as I do so if I were to attend, it would balance the group photo as odd numbers always look better.

Entering for my husband. Would earn some major brownie points if he won!

I've seen some of these photographers on the internet and they are wonderful. It would be a delight to directly talk with them and pick their smart brains for tips, tricks, experiences, and so much more. The stuff you would learn form them would be invaluable and being in London would be the cherry on top!

I just want to learn.

I need more knowledge...

I've invested a hell lot in America, buying my gear from BHPhoto, Adorama etc.

Loyalty begets loyalty, I need this.

Four reasons - Joe McNally, David Hobby, Gregory Heisler, and Zach Arias.
