The all black design is expected to be available in February, for the same cost of the original X100S at $1299. If you've been waiting to pick one of these up, perhaps this new design will help push you to do so.

Why is there a seperate lens in the picture? Is this a new feature, interchangeable lenses for the x100s as well? :)

That is very strange.

no interchangeable lenses for the X100s... not sure why they included a picture of another lens in that last image... this is the exact same camera as the X100s, only black...

ah that makes sense!

Not exactly... It's the wide conversion lens adapter.

Ah perfect, thanks Zach :)

And I just got the silver one... of course.

Damn that looks good... and yes that's the wide angle adapter, which is actually supposed to be great.

I've had the black x100s for a while now. Its just the x100s covered in gaff tape.

All my Canon cameras are black: A-1, F-1N, T-50, and EOS 5D Mk III.

I wish they would make a model with a zoom. A simple 3x zoom would suffice.

And then comes interchangeable lenses and before you know it you have the same-o, same-o. Best to leave it the way it is with a (relatively) simple, straight forward no bells and whistles lens.

Well, they can always leave THIS model for people who think like you, and make an alternative model for people who think like me. :-)

I'm more excited about the 56mm XF 1.2. Looks to be an awesome lens for a great price too considering the rest of the market

big deal a black one, when they come out with an orange one, let us know,
