Get some general knoledge about what art means in photography and then rate images. Judge with your brains not your dIk$!!!

Men judging photographs over the internet :D

Especially at young ages ( 17 - 35 ) critical thought goes into hibernation once exposed boobs/asses appear in the screen.

Sadly, not only here, but generally everywhere on the internet, nude photos rarely get judged and rated in the same manner a "non-sexy" landscape/cityscape/architecture/abstract photo does.

The same kind of applies to macro photos of insects/bugs.
Most of the time people do not consider the quality of focusing, DoF control and choices.

Get some general knowledge about the English language. Pictures like you are describing have already and have always been a topic of conversation on this site in particular. Look elsewhere if you're looking for someone to complain with you.

I don't know why you take this personal?! Anyway, i speek english at a level that people can understand me very well. But the queston is: do you speek romanian? Otherwise don't tell me to get some more knowledge about english language. From what i see here i am the one speaking and writting in multiple languages. So that makes you? Yeah...i don't have to go down to your level dude. Anyway, your answer was offtopic. Grow up!

Hey, everyone. First, Fstoppers is an international site. People from all over the world come here for great content every day (just as people from all over the world can access any website). We even have some foreign writers whose first language is not English. So to that point, let's try to be a little understanding with grammar, etc., when it comes to comments in the groups.

Second, this is the Fstoppers General Discussion group. If you want to talk about something, you should feel free to post it. And those that don't want to discuss that topic shouldn't feel like they have to read that or take time responding. :-) Simple!

I think you have a valid point. On another subject, you're too youthful, I think, to have photographed Nicolae Ceausescu. I photographed him at the United Nations in New York City around 1970. He threw a party for non-aligned nation heads of state like Mrs. Gandhi of India.

Who said anything about Ceausescu? I think you got in to the wrong topic. :)

Excuse me for agreeing with you. I won't make that mistake again.

What makes a great photo depends on your target audience.

If your target audience is the "little brain" of young men (or all men, for that matter), then a great photo is one that makes the woman in the photo appealing to the man, not one that makes the lighting, composition, and post processing appealing to a photographer.

So who do you want to appreciate your work? Other artists? Advertising companies? Etc.
