[News] Take a Virtual Tour of Iconic Photo/Video Store B&H

bnh [News] Take a Virtual Tour of Iconic Photo/Video Store B&H If you are fortunate enough to live in New York City, then gaining access to some of the world’s most globally recognized icons is as easy as stepping out your door. The Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, the Statue of Liberty and for us photographers, B&H. Undoubtedly one of the largest and most popular photo/video shops around, B&H has become an icon in the photo community and now Google Street View has made B&H accessible to anyone via a virtual tour. Sadly, the tour doesn’t quite do the place justice as all the good stuff is on the second floor and it doesn’t look like they will take you that far… yet.

WOW, I’m glad I don’t live in NY. I don’t think I would ever leave that place.

What’s the track system hanging from the ceiling for? Looks like it carries baskets?

It’s on the second floor. I guess Google isnt down with street viewing levles.

It runs through out the whole store. When you ask for something the track system will bring it up from whatever department or starage to the counter you are at. After inspecting it, that and anything else you ordered takes a bin on the track to check out. When you are done shopping you walk downstairs, pay in one line and then pick up your already packaged goods in another line on your way out.
