Evolution: A Portrait Series of People and The Fish They Look Like

Evolution” by photographer Ted Sabarese is a portrait series that compares people to their fish lookalikes.

"With all the recent, fiery controversy between evolution, creationism, intelligent design, science, religion, the political left, right, etc., I thought it might be provocative to throw my visual two-cents into the ring. The images beg the question, is it really so difficult to believe we came out from the sea millions and millions of years ago?"

Awesome concept!

Some great similarities

OMG, I love this! LOL. Pic #2,priceless!!!

Perfect visual wit.

(and... gulp... I shiver to think which would be MY fish!  :)

This is brilliant. I love the expression on the last chick.

Great idea

Seriously people?
I never saw something so awful and empty of content.
Horrible copy of another work about the REAL owners and their dogs.
No one noticed there is a worst ever liquify work on the eyes of the second image?
Sorry ... bad taste and work. All together.

True this idea has been done to death but i like the execution. different rooms, tables, plates, knives and forks for each picture makes for a lot of effort. However, you can see when the photographer ran out of ideas - the bulbous eyes do look pretty fake as another said and the red head is a little cliche.  That said the photographs, rooms and placements are really well thought out along with excellent post work (apart from those eyes).

I just love the catfish and the slender guy with long hair.  Those in particular are excellent photos.

i am moved beyond belief...

Awful and empty of content?  Check out the comedic "Judge Joe Brown" video a couple of posts above this one HAHA!  @CrustyJuggler66:disqus I couldn't agree more with you: I find the first and third photos displayed above are excellent and hilarious (particularly the first image)!  All in all, interesting etension of the owners and their dogs concept, be that the inspiration or otherwise.

Saying that we came from fish by chance is about as ridiculous as saying that the creativity in these photos happened by chance. It could have never even with "6 billion" years of shutter releases.

Well done look a likes though :)
the eyes are a little much, could have scaled it down just a bit.

Great Concept, Great Execution
