I invited my friend over for a quick portrait session to try out my lately acquired gear. His first reply was....''but I havent shaved''. I answered it was not a problem and we could have a shaved and unshaved variety for the portraits.
After the first segment, he went off to shave his (small) beard, I invited him a quick second to come sit so I could plan out the light. My goal was to get a clear shot of the face but to get his ears and everything on the same axis slightly out of focus.
He suggested a pose with the shaving cream he already had on his face.
