Autumn Maroon Bells

I thought I was a week late, since all the reports were saying peak color change was happening on the western side of Colorado. Two nights before I arrived. A storm came through and my ski resort posted photos of a beautiful blanket of snow in the area. My inner thoughts grew hoping that there was still color and now a possibility of a snow covered Maroon Bells. As I arrived with the 100+ other photographers. The clouds were heavily blanketing the peaks. Sunrise color was a no go. I decide to wait it and see what could come as the sun rose. Slowly the clouds dispersed revealing a snow covered Maroon Bells with a beautiful autumn colors surrounding them.
