This photo was a nice memory of the time I decided to step back from my work, and make my focus in photography one with more substance.
After this photo, it didn't matter if I was in the photo, it only mattered if it was good.
So I shot the focus of the photo on the balloons, instead of me, as a subliminal way of saying I don't matter anymore, just my work (my work being the balloons).
I am a model and a photographer, and I mostly shoot with tripods and timers, so almost always I am tempted jut to step into frame and take a self portrait. Steeping away from this practice I believe elevated my photography greatly.
