David caught me just after I took this last frame of him and teased me for trying to see his notes. We had just done a more formal cover shoot but this is the one that makes me remember him. I had to work with natural light the whole shoot as we were at a busy conference in an over-crowded community centre during the Blue Dot Tour. He really does write in green ink, in a fountain pen.
