A toddler meets her first princess and is enchanted at first sight. As we entered the room to meet the princess, I took several test shots. When I saw the harsh overhead light, I had an idea that I wanted to underexpose the image and give it a high-contrast look. Using the sliders in Lightroom, I crushed the blacks to eliminate any background detail and saturated the pinks and blues a bit to make them pop. Handheld at 1/250 sec, f2.8, 24mm and ISO 800 with a Canon 24-70mm f2.8L II lens on a Canon 70D body.
