I was hired to shoot an editorial portrait of the lead ballerina of the Louisville Ballet. They were going to print the very next day so they needed a quick turnaround. I got there about an hour before the shoot to scout the location and didn't see many options. We almost gave up, but at the last minute, we stumbled on this location, where the changing room trailers were.
We only had a couple minutes to shoot her. She was due to perform in a couple minutes and yet to finish warming up, but my assistant Hunter Zieske and I were able to knock it out.
