American Eagle

Free runner Paul Joseph in a field in Texas. This was part of a series of photographs commissioned by American Eagle for a campaign launching their new line of stretchy jeans.

I love the unfeasibility of this image. We had hidden a mini trampoline and a crash mat in a path through the corn, allowing our three athletes to throw themselves repeatedly into the air. Paul's athleticism is remarkable, though in this image it's perhaps difficult to tell whether he is backflipping or being abducted by aliens.
