What I love about vintage pinup paintings is that they were modern when they were made. They appealed to a modern audience, they took on modern ideas and made them fun, flirty, and sexy. Vintage pinup photography, in my mind, lives in the past...I like to shoot it in a way that is still modern and appealing in our time.
