This is another image I remember most for the horrible conditions I took it in. This particular day was nearing a storm, and as a result, large waves were generating a lot of surge, moving me 6-8 ft at a time even at a depth of 40 ft.

As a result, I searched the reef for large boulders to hide in between to get out of the heavy surge. My search for macro subjects turned up empty, but to my surprise, there was this moray eel right beside me just inches from where I held on to the reef.
