In San Diego it’s rare that we get real snow. When my wife saw an Instagram story from Cuyamaca State Park she said we had to go. For me hiking up a mountain with a backpack full of camera gear in the snow is really hard. When we got close to the top of the storm was threatening to take away all visibility. My wife having to look off to the side over valley and called me over. When I saw a little sliver of orange light I knew that the sunset could potentially do something cool with that valley. I was so stoked when this happened.
