I used the Mike Kelley method of flash popping objects and combining multiple layers in PS to create the final image.
I was working with 1 speedlight.
The interior was lit by bouncing the flash into the ceiling with a half CTB. I took another shot with the flash hiding behind the chairs on the balcony to light the exterior (no gel). Merged in PS with a few other shots to create the final image.
