The Fog Rolls Out

This is a photo of the San Francisco Skyline and the peaks of the Bay Bridge taken from high above the city at Marin Headlands. It was an early summer morning and the fog had engulfed the entire skyline but since I was committed to the location I sat patiently and waited for it to roll out to sea. I used 2 stacked ND filters to get 16 extra stops, the 180 second exposure smoothed the fog and enhanced the scene. Further editing was performed in Lightroom & Photoshop.
