The first in a portrait series inspired by Norse mythology. I wanted it to feel painterly and have a classic aesthetic, so I used a single light and composited in a photo I captured of a thundercloud. It was photographed in my garage studio using a Flashpoint XPLOR 600 through an Elinchrom Rotalux 39" Deep Octa camera left, with negative fill from a black Vflat World Vflat camera right. Color grading and other post processing done in Photoshop.
